Lay It…errr Lie It Down…

My mother, I love her dearly, but the woman thinks that laying down “lying down” can solve all of the world’s problems…

Me: My head hurts… Her: Wanna lie down?
Me: My stomach hurts… Her: You should lie down!
Me: My nail broke… Her: Awww, go lie down!
Me: I’m hungry… Her: Get something to eat… then go lie down.

And all of this laying down lying down should be done in her bed, because apparently it has powers. LOL or something.

Sidebar: I HATE typing lie down or lying down. It just doesn’t look right. When I’m chatting with my friends I always type or say laying instead of lying. I know it’s wrong (Things lay, People lie) but it feels more right. I can’t be the only one that feels that way?!!? Anyhoo, I’m tired. I should by laying lying down. :)
