My Goddaughter's Friend: You call her mom?
My Goddaughter: Yeah, I call her mom and my mother mommy.
My Goddaughter's Friend: Oh, you're adopted?
My Goddaughter: Of course not. She's my Godddmom and the other one is my mom-mom.
My Goddaughter's Friend: What's a Godmom?
My Goddaughter: Well it's just someone who helps take care of you and buys you things... and if my mom dies.... or goes to jail, she'll have to keep me.
My Goddaughter's Friend: Oh. That's cool!!
My Cousin (Goddaughter's mom): (to my Goddaughter) You'd like that huh? Trying to kill me off?
Me: (laughing) It seems you'd be more concerned with the fact that she thinks you're going to end up in jail.
